New developments in representation theory of algebras: Algebraic, combinatorial and geometric aspects

November 18 to November 30, 2024

Conference, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology, Okinawa, Japan

A meeting discussing new developments in representation theory of algebras, combinatorics, algebraic geometry, polytopal geometry, cluster algebras and some aspects of theoretical physics. After a 5-day school centred around 4 mini-courses on some new directions of research, the event resumed with a 5-day conference that included a broader range of subjects and speakers, as well as a poster session.

DANGER 4: Data, Numbers, and Geometry

MEGA 2024

July 29 to August 02, 2024

Conference, MPI für Mathematik in den Naturwissenschaften and Universität Leipzig, Leipzig, Germany

MEGA is the acronym for Effective Methods in Algebraic Geometry (and its equivalent in Italian, French, Spanish, German, Russian, etc.). This series of biennial international conferences, with the tradition dating back to 1990, is devoted to computational and application aspects of Algebraic Geometry and related topics, over any characteristics.

ICMS 2024

July 22 to July 25, 2024

Conference, Durham University, Durham, UK

ICMS is a bi-annual congress that gathers the mathematicians, scientists and programmers who are interested in the development of mathematical software. I presented a talk on tropical homotopy continuation.

GAeL XXXI

June 17 to June 21, 2024

Conference, Politecnico di Torino and Università di Torino, Turin, Italy

Géométrie Algébrique en Liberté, also known as GAeL, is an annual workshop organized by and for young algebraic geometers. The aim of this workshop is to gather young mathematicians in this field of research and give them an opportunity to discuss freely without having to fear that their questions or viewpoints might be silly: hence the name of the workshop.

Cluster Structures in the North II
